Q:How long is the rental period?
A:Our standard prices are based on a weekly rental(up to 7 days). However, we are known for being flexible and easy to work with. If you have specific timing needs for your project, please discuss them with us when booking.
Q:What dumpster sizes do you offer and what are the dimensions?
A: We offer three convenient “box style” dumpster sizes to fit your project. Our 10-yard dumpster is 2’7″ high x 8′ wide x 14′ long. The 15-yard dumpster is 4′ high x 8′ wide x 14′ long. For larger cleanouts, our 20-yard dumpster measures 5′ high x 8′ wide x 14′ long. All our dumpsters are designed for easy loading.
Q:How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?
A:Our pricing is transparent and competitive. A 10-yard dumpster is $450 for a weekly rental, a 15-yard is $550, and a 20-yard is $650. These prices include the rental period and a specific weight allowance: 1 ton for the 10-yard, 2 tons for the 15-yard, and 3 tons for the 20-yard container.
Q:Are there items that cost extra to dispose of?
A:Yes, certain items incur additional disposal fees. These include TVs and computer monitors ($50 each), car tires ($75 each), mattresses and box springs ($100 each), and appliances/white goods ($50 each). Specialized rubber tracks or large tires are $200 each. Please let us know if you plan to dispose of these items.
Q:What items are strictly prohibited?
A: We cannot accept hazardous waste, medical waste, or biohazard waste inside our dumpsters. Placing these items in the container may result in legal or government fines. If you are unsure about a specific item, please call us at (508) 796-5096 before loading it.
Q:What areas of Central Massachusetts and MetroWest Massachusetts do you serve?
A: We are a veteran-owned business proudly serving Worcester and surrounding towns including Ashland, Auburn, Berlin, Bolton, Boxborough, Boylston, Charlton, Clinton, Concord, Douglas, Dover, Dudley, Framingham, Grafton, Holden, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hubbardston, Hudson, Jefferson, Lancaster, Leicester, Leominster, Marlborough, Mendon, Millbury, Northborough, Northbridge, Oxford, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sherborn, Shrewsbury, South Grafton, Spencer, Sterling, Stow, Sturbridge, Sutton, Upton, Uxbridge, Webster, Westborough, West Boylston and Whitinsville. Note that there may be a surcharge for towns that do not directly abut Worcester but we remain competitive in dumpster rental pricing particularly out in MetroWest Massachusetts and Framingham.
Q:What happens if I exceed the weight limit?
A: Each dumpster comes with an allotted weight limit (1, 2, or 3 tons depending on size). If you go over this limit, there is a prorated weight fee of $195 per ton (2,000 lbs).
Q:Do I need to be home for delivery?
A: No, you do not need to be home. We can drop off the dumpster while you are at work. We value your time and pride ourselves on arriving on time for appointments. Please ensure the drop-off location is clear and accessible.
Q: What is the most popular sized dumpster rented by homeowners?
A: The 15 yard dumpster is our most popular option, but we will happily discuss the best size option with you when you call or contact us.
Q: Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
A: While we take care during delivery, Dan’s Rubbish is not responsible for damage to driveways or personal property caused by the container. We place wood underneath the dumpster wheels and dumpster feet when applicable and safe to do so.
Q: Can you throw latex paint cans in the dumpster?
A: Yes, we can accept dry latex paint in the dumpster.

Q: How much space do I need for the dumpster?
A: A flat, clear driveway or parking area is ideal. Dumpsters are driveway-safe, and we take care to place them where you request. We put wood down underneath the dumpster wheels.
Q: Can I fit a standard sized couch in a dumpster?
A: Yes, a standard sized couch will fit in all of our dumpsters. If you have a sectional or a questionable sized piece of furniture we are happy to discuss.
